Must to have
o Must to have relevant experience as Data Engineer at least 5 years
o Must to have relevant senior experience with Snowflake.
o Must to have relevant senior experience with SQL for complex data manipulation,
transformation, and analysis.
o Must to have relevant senior experience with dbt core or dbt Cloud
o Must to have relevant senior experience with Python for scripting and custom data
ingestion.
o Must to have relevant senior experience with data modelling, ELT development, and data
warehousing techniques.
o Must to have relevant senior experience with Git and GitHub Pull Requests.
o Must to have relevant senior experience with supporting QA and User AcceptanceTesting processes.

About the role
We have been on a journey to modernise our data technology stack and have moved to a modern data
stack that consists of Snowflake, dbt Cloud, Fivetran, Power BI and AWS. We still have many legacy
processes based on SQL Server and Azure to migrate to our new stack, all while responding to new
requests from our global business. You will report to the Lead Data Engineer and will convert raw data
into usable information for analytics and business decision-making across business functions,
including Technology, Product, CRM, Loyalty, Venue and Digital Marketing. You will be involved
in all aspects of the delivery including design, implementation, testing, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- As a Data Engineer you will demonstrate your ability to: Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain highly scalable data management systems and solutions, ensuring proper compliance with client’s architectural standards.
- Design and build stable, reliable and effective data processing pipelines across the Data Lake and Data Warehouse in Snowflake.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Data Architect and Business Analysts to integrate systems and automate data collection processes.
- Develop and update technical documentation, ensuring it is clear and understandable by the wider Data Team.
- Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders.
- Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality.
